CHAPTER 2

Author's note :
Hello guys! I hope you all had a great first week in this year. Below is this week's update and the second chapter of the story! Happy reading!!

CHAPTER 2

CHOCOLATE DRINK AND PIZZA MAKE A GREAT COMBO !

One thing you all should know about Jhansi is she ALWAYS keeps her promises.

                       Always.

Let me tell you an example. We made a bet in high school that Jhansi – the golden girl who doesn’t speak back to her strict parents and always obey them – would start a fight with them and break her mother’s favorite vase and graffiti his father’s car if I – the nerdy me , a straight A student – get an E in Mathematics.

The cool me took it as a challenge and scored an E in the next math test we had. Believe me when I say it was torture when I intentionally left the questions unanswered and the looks I had to endure from the average C students when they knew I got an E…it was torture. Pure and absolute torture. Not to mention the wrath of my parents… well, I was grounded until the next exam in which I got A again.

Since I completed my task with flying colors, we all decided Jhansi should do hers next. Her father being the sheriff of our town and her mom being the head of Disciplinary Board of our town, Greenville, it was more appropriate to say her house wasn’t a house but more like solitary confinement. And to go against her parents …I would never dare to do such a thing.

But Jhansi dared.

Just because she gave us her word.

She fought with her parents for the very first time in her entire existence expressing how they never let her to be herself and when they protested she BROKE her mother’s favorite CHINA SET COLLECTION and instead of grafting on her dad’s car , she dumped a whole BUCKET OF PINK PAINT all over dad’s GOVERNMENT CAR!!!.

Way to go girl!!!

And ever since her parents have been more understanding and easy going. But mind you, this was not before she was grounded for an entire year and that she should workout everyday for an hour in that said year. *shudders*

And there are so many instances that I can tell about ‘Jhansi and her Promises’ tale once I come back from downstairs.

That is if I am still alive.

Oh shoot! My five minutes are almost up! Blast it. I sprinted to open the door without even bothering to close the Instagram tab on my laptop fearing for my life and ran downstairs.

I skipped so fast on the stairs that :
1)      It should get placed in World records.
2)      I didn’t even notice the person standing in our hall.
3)      And even better I didn’t notice that I was about to fall on floor face first since I skipped the last four steps.

To avoid myself face-planting  myself onto the floor in front of a strangers and worse , my friends, I expertly maneuvered myself and changed the direction to my right so that I can balance myself with the stairs handrail.

But the idiot me forgot about the new dining table that was now standing on my landing position.  And so the entire contents of the dining table fell on me since I grabbed the dining table sheet instead of dining TABLE.

Once I heard the curses and laughter of my beautiful friends I said ,”Hello to you too guys!! And by the way great pizzas!” licking the pizza piece that fell on my face. Not to mention my other parts of the body was also covered in various kinds of foods and…beverages? My shirt was soaked in chocolate drink!

Grabbing the half fill chocolate drink and tasting it I said,"Chocolate  drink and pizza make a great combo !!".

I was smiling to myself and taking pride in smelling mouth watering  and tasting all the food that spill on me and that’s when another round of laughter erupted from a male.

I looked up to see who the stranger was.

When I saw the person…I knew one thing for sure.  I am the most unluckiest person in the whole world!!

Author's note :

Hello Readers, how did you like this chapter? And I swear the upcoming chapters have fast-moving plots. The first few chapters are focused on describing the characters, so they might be kinda slow. So don't get bored! You have been warned!

                     Have a great week ahead!!
